Privacy Policy

CGame Highlights records your mobile gameplay on your device and automatically creates highlight clips. The short version: your videos never leave your phone, and everything that can be sent to us is optional and can be turned off in Settings.

Your recordings stay on your device

All screen recordings, clips, and montages are captured, processed, and stored locally on your device. Highlight detection runs entirely on-device. We never upload, view, or have access to your videos. Clips leave your device only when you share or export them.

Data we collect (and how to turn it off)

We do not collect your name, contacts, location, photos, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. We do not show ads, do not track you across other apps or websites, and do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Accounts

The app creates an anonymous account ID (via Firebase Authentication) to associate crash reports and optional diagnostics with an install. You may optionally Sign in with Apple; if you do, we store the identifier (and email, if you choose to share it) provided by Apple.

Where data is processed

Optional analytics, crash reports, and diagnostics are processed by Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Remote Config), acting as our service provider. Firebase's data handling is described at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Data deletion

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account & Data permanently deletes your account and any diagnostics stored on our servers. Recordings on your device are unaffected (delete those in the app's Gallery or by uninstalling).
By email: contact us at the address below and we'll delete your data.

Diagnostic data is retained only as long as needed to investigate issues.

Children

CGame Highlights is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We'll update this page when the policy changes and update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
